Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 22, 2026
Beacon Light Investments ("we," "us") built Bobberly as a private, on-device application. This policy describes — briefly, because there is not much to describe — what happens to your data.
Summary
Bobberly does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There is no account, no server, and no sync. Everything you enter stays on your device unless you personally choose to share or print it.
What Bobberly Stores, and Where
Bobberly stores the following on your device only, in a local database and local files it creates in your device's app storage:

None of this data is transmitted to us, to any analytics service, or to any third party. Bobberly contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no advertising SDK of any kind.
When Data Leaves Your Device
Only when you take an explicit action to make it leave:
- Sharing or printing a box card. The generated PDF is handed to your device's native share/print sheet — where it goes after that is entirely up to you.
- Purchasing or restoring the lifetime unlock. This is handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit or Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details. Apple and Google process this transaction under their own privacy policies: Apple / Google.
- Leaving a review. Tapping "Write a Review" in Settings opens the platform's native review prompt (or, if unavailable, the app's store listing page in your browser) — governed by Apple's or Google's own privacy policy, not ours.
No account identifiers, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers are collected by Bobberly at any point.
What Bobberly Does Not Do
- No account or sign-in is required or offered.
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking of any kind.
- No advertising SDKs, and no ads are shown.
- No device identifiers or advertising identifiers are collected.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties, because no data is collected from you in the first place.
- No cloud backend operated by the developer exists to store, process, or have access to your data.
Permissions Bobberly Requests, and Why
Bobberly requests no iOS usage-description permissions and no Android permissions beyond the INTERNET permission, which Google Play Billing / StoreKit require transitively for the purchase and restore flow. This permission is not used to collect data about you.
Your Control Over Your Data
Settings → Delete All My Data permanently erases every box, tray, item, catch, loss-ledger entry, line-log entry, trip list, and generated box-card PDF — including the PDF files themselves, not just their records — instantly and entirely on-device. This does not require, and does not use, any network connection. It does not revoke a previously purchased Lifetime Unlock; "Restore Purchases" re-applies it if you reinstall or delete-and-restart.
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request — deleting the app, or using "Delete All My Data," removes it completely.
Children's Privacy
Bobberly is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new effective date.
